update on mom

not good news i'm affraid
mom does have a breast tumour
they are letting me go back next week to pick up meds and results on behalf of mom as she is very disabled and unwell to start with so it's a lot for her going backwards and forwards to hospital
they are starting her on hormone therapy to try and shrink the tumour so won't know for 3 months if it is receptive to the hormones or not
surgery and chemo etc really isn't an option for mom due to her health issues so fingers crossed that the hormone therapy shinks it for her and keeps it at bay
so again need everyone to cross anything that can be crossed
bye for now
