just 2 cards to show you tonight
both in black and white
one is for my niece who is 21 soon used an 8x8 and just folded front in half the image if from a kit i had from qvc a while ago and the mat for the wording was cut on cricut
the flower decoration was again from qvc it comes in sheets of 12x12 and you just cut it to what you want great stuff to use as don't waste anything i love the effect it gives
the other card is for a friend he asked me to make a birthday card for his partner alan so it's a mans card but i'm able to be a bit more flamboyant as alan is quite a flamboyant character so didn't have to be quite as boring as the usual mans card yeah hooray for gay men
it's sort of a side view of a jacket and shirt with roses in his pocket and red gem button and lapel pin
can't say the design was all my idea as i did see something similar somewhere in a gallery but can't remember where i saw it as it was quite a while back so just made it up from memory
again i used an 8x8 card from craftworks and the black jacket and shirt card is from yes you guessed qvc gorgeous card had the roses and jewels for ages can't remember from i think the jewels were prima but may be wrong
gonna rest up for the next couple of days as off to telford craft exhibition on saturday don't know how long i will last out but i will be able to take my painkillers as don't need to drive as hubby will take and fetch me bless him quite looking forward to it i'm meeting margaret there (maggiemay from docrafts) so will be nice to have someone to go around with and to convince me that yes i really do need that new stamp lol
