mom's birthday

It's moms birthday next week so have just finished her card i have also made her a little note book too as she is always writing things down on bits of paper then loosing them so i thought i would make her, her own little note book so she can loose that instead
i used some laura ashley papers for the card and book
and some penny black images
i wanted it to look spring like and think these papers and images do the job
i used a theme of the garden as it's a spring birthday hence the bug on the back of the book thought he was cute and he would raise a smile
hope you like it
i will have a couple more soon as i have to make one for ian to give his nan
and also her friend has asked me to make one for her too so will have to rattle my brain a little and get cracking on them
oh my big bite arrived today. i boought it with my birthday money it's super really love it such a useful tool so will have play with that tomorrow too
well going to sign off now and have a mooch around some of your blogs
bye for now

Gill, both of them are lovely. The work is fabulous, I looked at Laura Ashley papers and never saw anything so nice but methinks its how you have put it together ;-) And I love the bug!
